A non-designer’s guide to creating better blog graphics

We are a visual society–90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual and our brains will process images 60,000 times faster than text. For a blogger or content marketer, this is a crucial stat—it means readers are more likely to engage with your visuals than with your words. Graphics are aesthetically pleasing, but may also be hard to create if you do not have a foundation in design.

If you want to learn how to design better graphics, but you may don’t have the budget, nor the skills necessary for creating graphics from scratch, then you’re in luck. Coschedule has put together an infographic that offers tips on how to create better blog graphics to help your blog get the traction you need. Some of the tips offered in the infographic below include: when adding on, less is more; don’t use too many design elements that will make your graphics look cluttered and unreadable; or that you should use quality imagery and buy what you can’t create.

Learn more in the infographic below and share your tips.
