Ad agency takes bad ideas, turns them into gifts to clients

When it comes to defining a problem, creating as many solutions as possible often leads to a few bad ideas. And while creativity is a trial-and-error process, sometimes good ideas come from the bad.

At least, that’s what advertising agency Wax has discovered by brilliantly turning their garbage ideas into creative gold.

Creatives at Wax would write their creative concepts onto a piece of paper, crumple them up into balls and then turn them into Christmas ornaments. These baubles were then packaged and gifted to their clients so they could hang them on their Christmas tree.

Wax admits that the agency has had some crazy ideas — like when they wanted to make a gas-flavoured Slushie, or charge Moxie diners for cheap leftover food on Wednesdays. But with these ornaments, they’ve shown that they know how to make lemonade out of lemons.
