Ridiculous requests and things you shouldn’t say to a graphic designer

If you’re a graphic designer (or even an art director like me for that matter), one of the hardest things is trying to accede to your client’s vague, obscure and sometimes ridiculous requests; the ones that don’t clearly state what they want.

This inspired Italian graphic designer Luca Masini to embark on a personal project; a series of posters of things graphic designers hate to hear. The phrases are a collection of actual client requests he’s heard; and ones he’s accumulated throughout his more than 10 years of working in the industry. Check them out:

Ridiculous requests: "I've sent you the logo. Is in Word format. If's ok?" Ridiculous requests: "C'mon, it will only take a minute to do it" Ridiculous requests: "Must be something original" Ridiculous requests: "There's something that doesn't work, but I'm not sure what" Ridiculous requests: "Try a more powerful colour" Ridiculous requests: "It's got to be something with impact" Ridiculous requests: "Anyway, you are the designer. You Know what to do." Ridiculous requests: "I'm not sure, try something else"
