Fourteen dining establishments in the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake joined together to create Signature Kitchens; a culinary group celebrating local, seasonal and artisanal cuisine. Branded as the ‘Culinary Capital of Canada’, this new restaurant group wanted a website design that showcased their restaurants and cuisine. The website had to have an upscale casual dining feel, yet earthy to represent the regions producers. A colour scheme of dark browns and golds, combined with beautiful hi-res imagery of their cuisine was used to draw the viewers focus.
