What a Bagel is an eatery, bakery & catering franchise specializing in bagels. They have over a dozen locations in the Greater Toronto Area.

About the project

The client had updated their branding a few months previous and I had redesigned their catering and eatery menus. Now it was the time to revisit their website and make it easier for people to find what they are looking for. Not looking to do a full redesign of their site, having done so five years prior, I worked with a UX designer, developer and copywriter to look at ways to improve the What a Bagel website. The brand colours and fonts were updated to the new style, images were revisited, and fresh content was created. The new look, which now has a better page speed score and easier to navigate front and back-end, includes easier to find store locators, individual menus and a simple catering order functionality that’s just shy of a full shopping cart.
