With a background in event planning and a passion for design, Alana’s shag carpet cakes feature colourful, abstract designs and textured surfaces. Each of her retro shag carpet cake are covered in buttercream frosting and capture the spirit of the ’70s staple. 

Alana is able to evoke the psychedelic patterns through a meticulous piping technique. In addition to her shag carpet cake designs, Alana also bakes goodies inspired by other elements of interior design. Some of those include decorative hangings, nostalgic wallpaper, black-and-white tiles, and stylish terrariums.
