Your typical beer ad contains some form of sexual innuendo or another. But what happens if a beer company was able to blur the lines of alcohol advertising and take it to the next level? You’d get this erotic drama from Danish-brewer Carlsberg.
The campaign, by Amsterdam’s 72andSunny and the Copenhagen office of New York’s MacGuffin Films, imagines what would happen if Carlsberg made erotic drama. As part Carlsberg’s signature “If Carlsberg Did” theme, the ads state “If Carlsberg did erotic drama, it would be the best in the world. Probably.”
“Carlsberg beer is made by natural, unique ingredients, and MacGuffin have helped us make these come to life in a refreshing and indulging way. Hereby, the beer itself is put on a pedestal, just where we think it should be. Probably,” says Carlsberg director of strategy and innovation Didrik Fjeldstad.
