Dark humour or black comedy makes light of serious, disturbing and/or taboo subject matter. And it also happens to be the subject of some of Illustrator Ben Chen’s work.

Ben’s dark portrayals show how unlucky cartoons meet their death. Although these works can be disturbing, especially for fans, those with a darker sense of humour will get a laugh. In some his illustrations, the characters’ death are made even more tragic when murdered by their allies.
