Up your gaming interior with Sony Playstation furniture
If you’re wondering what to get the gamer in your life for Christmas, how about official PlayStation furniture like a branded bean bag chair?
Sony recently launched this unexpected new line of products for gamers. Partnering with Pottery Bar, they’ve come out with an officially-licensed line of PlayStation-themed furniture. While PlayStation and Pottery Barn sounds more like a weird joke than a corporate crossover, it’s real.
Sold through Pottery Barn’s PBteen, the collection transforms its classic controller shapes into décor and Playstation furniture that won’t only console you, but will also bring more oomph to your gaming experiences. The collection includes a gaming media console, lounge table, acrylic cubbies for games, and a neon light and beanbag chair. All told, the full collection costs a little more than US$2,000, depending on how many beanbags you desire.
The next question is which Sony console to rock on that media console. With 86 million units shipped, it’s probably going to be the PS4. However, Sony just announced the first lineup of games for the PlayStation Classic mini-console, which drops December 3. The media console looks big enough that they both may fit, so you’ll need to decide which takes precedence. More free games always helps, too.
