Stencils give your hair a unique design

Hair can be cut, styled and coloured. But why colour all of it, when you can create floral, polka dots and other patterns in your hair. Stylist Janine Ker, from Salon Aguayo, has created her own stencil designs for hair.

To get the look, Janine starts by sketching a design on paper, but also purchase them at craft stores. She then recreates her vision into works of art on her hair. And she currently owns 40-50 individual stencils.

To colour the designs, Janine uses temporary hair colour sprays that can be found at stores like Party City or Walmart. The designs that these stencils create lasts one shampoo, which is great if you want it for a special event, but don’t want to wear it for weeks on end.

Have a look at these beautiful hair designs below. You can also follow her on Instagram page.

✨Silver & Gold✨ -My idea behind this particular #HairStencil look is centered around the silver and gold of the holiday season! I approached the overall design with the timelessness of vintage theme. MUA & model @annelperez_ topped the look off with a gold accent winged liner, and a bold traditional red lip. Check out the LINK IN BIO for the how to!
