A gas mask is needed to prepare the world’s spiciest drumstick sauce
Atomic Kick Ass Sauce is hot; and not give me a glass of milk hot. The world’s spiciest drumstick sauce is so hot that Bindi Restaurant chef and creator, Muhammad Karim, has to put on a gas mask to prevent himself from passing out while preparing it.Sounds a little extreme, but the world’s spiciest drumstick sauce is made with some powerful ingredients. They include a few of the world’s hottest peppers, such as Moruaga Scorpion, Carolina Reaper, mixed together with lots of special chilli extract, and has a score of 12 million units on the Scoville scale of hotness. Consuming the sauce can cause facial paralysis, body shakes and even internal bleeding!
“The last guy who tried it was sweating all over. He was slapping his face to try and feel anything, but it was paralyzed,” Muhammad said. “The body gets this massive rush which can paralyze the face for up to 30 minutes and give them body shakes.”
Located in the UK, Bindi Restaurant created a challenge for the world’s spiciest drumstick sauce. Customers can win £100 (approx. $145 CDN) if they can eat 10 drumsticks in under 15 minutes. So far, only two out of 20 people who’ve taken up the challenge were able to ingest up to two drumsticks before calling it quits.
Now the real question becomes: why would you you want to even attempt to ingest this sauce?
