If you’re hoping for a raise this year, you’re not alone. Most job seekers list salary as their number one consideration when looking for a new job. So if companies want to capture the attention of talent, they need to offer competitive salaries that accurately reflect employees’ job title, location and experience level.

A little more on the expected salary trends for Canadians: employee health and benefits are among the priorities of HR leaders. Salary increases are likely to remain modest at 2.1 per cent for 2017. That’s down from the 2.5 per cent projected last year.
