Designer Parth Kothekar’s choice of canvas might be simple, but the results are none the less stunning. With his incredible eye for detail and skillful hands, he has managed to make intricate hand carved artworks by cutting into a single sheet of paper.
This isn’t Kothekar’s first use of this intricate papercut technique – previously using it to create witty typographic messages, which you can view here. His recent return to this technique has yielded more amazing creations. Using a single sheet of paper and a knife, he painstakingly carves precise designs of feathers, portraits of women, bicycles, among many other subjects, which look almost as delicate as laces.
