Nature is a beautiful thing. We want the real flowers that stay in bloom forever, but it doesn’t happen. That is, until now. Designer Kay Bells, of Ruby Robin Boutique, lets you wear tiny terrariums and pieces from the natural world in her jewellery.
Kay’s collection includes a overabundance of unique designs; flower petals encased in water, moss inside shadow boxes, and dried flowers in vials. These bits of nature are then turned into rings, pendant necklaces and earrings. By wearing these precious keepsakes, you’ll always have nature close to your heart.
The jewellery maker is always on the hunt to find more bits of nature and real flowers to fit inside her designs.
“My hand-crafted jewellery is designed to allow the quiet beauty of nature to shine; to stir the imagination; inspire wonder in small things and encapsulate a microcosm of forgotten memories.”
Kay is open to commission, as well, and can make personalized jewellery out of small keepsakes. She suggests things like bridal lace, a flower from a bouquet, or even a strand of hair.
