If logos were honest about the brands they represented

Logo design and branding are the best ways to create a visual touch point for products and services. But they don’t always accurately reflect the products that they stand for. And as much as we love certain brands for their visually appealing logos, what if famous brands were forced to modify their logos to reflect their true image?

It’s no secret that certain companies have made big mistakes in the past, or still continue to use questionable business models that some of us consider immoral.

With this in mind, Jo Sabin, head of community graphic design at marketplace DesignCrowd, has created an honest series of famous logos. Some of them have very subtle but powerful messages whilst others are just a bit of fun. For example, the FIFA logo has been re-designed to reflect the latest corruption scandal. On the other hand, the Sony Pictures Entertainment Hack has been implemented into multiple logo redesigns.

Take a look at some of the parody logos below, including names such as Apple, IKEA, FIFA and Coca-Cola.
